La Colombaia is born, a place where is possible to explore new sensations, to find refreshment, warmth and hospitality, all included in wide spaces, between the water shimmerings of the pool.


From the desire to offer a new type of cooking in the North Gallura gastronomic scenery, La Funtana Hotel, offering a careful hospitality and an high quality cuisine to its guest form more than 20 years, creates the project “La Colombaia”, that explains cooking following a present concept and tied to the territory and tradition, in the places that where once family’s vineyards and orchards.



Massimiliano Villani, a young but already nationally affirmed chef, has worked with great Chefs as Ezio Santin, 3 Michelin stars, e Fabio Barbaglini 1 Michelin star.

He is the owner of Essenza Bistrot Restaurant in Olbia, that has received “Il Piatto” by the prestigious guide Michelin in 2017, the only one in Sardinia.

He is a Chef inspired by an authentic and genuine passion for cuisine and for the research of all of its expressions and variations.
